This is a popular bird in Native American Beading. She comes in early Spring, the messenger of New Beginnings, and much more. The upper design came from a photo of some old needlework, and the second is a full color adaptation I did using a painting of a hummingbird as the inspiration for the colors shown in this beading pattern. A Morning glory, or any other flower motif, would go well with this on a belt or a purse or wallet.. use your imagination and create a One-of-a-kind beading project. Have Fun!!
