I like this beaded barrette, it is very warm and friendly looking, isn't it? Of course, when you bead it up you will probably want to choose your own colors or shades. I always like thge look of feathers in beading, I mean the little feather motif, sometimes not even complete, but it is a symbol we all know. The sweet thing about beading these up on a loom is that you can finish one and start another right away if you think of another color combination, and the beading is fast and easy. On my looms I often bead up 3 or 4 at a time before re-stringing the loom. Did you ever try doing the same pattern with different color thread? It is amazing how the character of a piece will be completely altered by such a small change. Enjoy!!.
