I have Red River Metis Roots, and this striking pattern is undeniably a loom beadwork design of the Modern Metis Sash that is machine loom woven. The Machine Woven Metis Sash has taken the place of the finger woven Metis Sash of Olden Days, and is easily recognizable. I think a belt of this pattern would be AMAZING!!!
