JOIN YOUR BEADING THREAD
with
the
DOUBLE "EASY SLIP" THREAD KNOT
This
knot is easy to do once you get the hang of it.
Test it in a few beads you are using for your
project to be certain it will fit through
with at least one other slip of thread already in the beads. You
don't want to
break a bead in the middle of a project, or get your knot hung up
either.
|

Overlap
the ends of your old & new threads a few inches. Take one end, and
form
the loop shown below, crossing the two threads
about midway of the overlapped distance.

Make
several turns around the two threads, through the loop, working in the
direction
shown

Pull
the tag end to form a snug knot tight around the line.

|
|

Use
the
other thread's loose end to tie a second knot in the opposite direction.
Pull the tag end of the second thread to form a second snug knot.

Pull
the two long threads in opposite directions to slide the knots
together.

|
|
Pull
as tightly as possible and snip the tag ends close to the
knot.
This slim double knot will slip through beads easily, leaving no "loose
ends" to deal with in your work.
*Don't use this knot near row ends & spots where several threads
must go through a single bead.*
Nice Work!!
